Lotus biscuit ensaimada

NOVELTY! Ensaimada filled with a delicious Lotus Biscoff biscuit cream, covered in dark chocolate and pieces of Lotus biscuit. Lotus is a biscuit with a surprisingly crunchy texture and a very characteristic flavor. Its peculiar caramel flavor is appreciated all over the world.

This new special ensaimada follows the same procedure as the rest of our special ensaimadas. All our ensaimadas are made from wheat flour, sugar, water, free-range eggs, lard and a pinch of yeast and our artisan sourdough, following the recipe of our ancestors, 100% artisan, without any type of preservatives or additives.

If you want to enjoy your ensaimada to the fullest, we recommend that you prepare it by following these simple steps:

Remove the container and let it rest for a few minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180º, turn off the oven and introduce the ensaimada for a maximum of 5 minutes (we want it to get hot, not overcook).
Use a strainer to sprinkle the icing sugar on top.

Ensaimada ingredients: wheat flour, lard (with stabilizer: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids and antioxidants: BHA and BHT), sugar, egg, yeast, anti-caking agent: calcium carbonate, emulsifier: E472e, heat treatment agent flour: ascorbic acid, preservative: calcium propionate and salt.

Filling ingredients: vegetable fat (sunflower), sugar, lotus biscuits 15% (wheat flour, sugar, vegetable fat (palm, rapeseed), caramelised sugar, raising agent: sodium bicarbonate, soy flour, salt, cinnamon) , skimmed milk powder, whey powder, milk fat, caramelized sugar, emulsifier: soy lecithin, cinnamon, antioxidant: rosemary extract, coloring: paprika extract.

May contain tree nuts, eggs and peanuts.
