Our new Filipinos ensaimada combines the best of Menorcan tradition with the unmistakable flavor of classic chocolate-covered cookies.
The dough is the same as always: light, tender, and 100% handmade. Inside, you’ll find a creamy filling with the flavor of white Filipinos cookies, and on top, a generous decoration of white chocolate drizzles and pieces of white and milk chocolate Filipinos cookies.
As always, handmade in our bakery in Menorca.
Ingredients: Traditional ensaimada dough: wheat flour, lard (with stabilizer: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids and antioxidants: BHA and BHT), sugar, egg, yeast, anti-caking agent: calcium carbonate, emulsifier: E472e, flour treatment agent: ascorbic acid, preservative: calcium propionate, and salt.
White chocolate-covered biscuit filling: sugar, vegetable oils (rapeseed, palm), whey powder, hazelnut paste, vegetable fat (palm), emulsifier (sunflower lecithin), flavorings, white chocolate-coated biscuit (10%) (sugar, cocoa butter, skimmed milk powder, lactose, whey powder, milk fat, emulsifier (sunflower lecithin), flavoring, wheat flour, sugar, palm oil, defatted cocoa powder, glucose-fructose syrup, raising agents (ammonium and sodium bicarbonate), salt, whey powder, emulsifier (soy lecithin), antioxidants (E304, E306), and flavoring).
